Job Description

Are you seeking a unique opportunity to immerse yourself in a new culture, enhance your English skills, and become a valued member of a welcoming family in Norwich, UK? Cultural Care Au Pair invites you to embark on an incredible adventure as an Au Pair. This full-time live-in position offers a chance to provide childcare and light household support while experiencing British life firsthand. In return, you’ll receive accommodation, meals, weekly pocket money, and dedicated support from our local team. This role is perfect for enthusiastic, responsible individuals with a genuine love for children and an eagerness for cultural exchange.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide reliable and engaging childcare for children, including supervising play, assisting with homework, and organizing activities.
  • Prepare simple meals and snacks for children.
  • Assist with children's laundry and tidying their rooms/play areas.
  • Help with school runs and local outings.
  • Ensure children's safety and well-being at all times.
  • Actively participate in family life and cultural activities.
  • Communicate regularly with host parents regarding children's development and daily routines.

Required Skills

  • Genuine love for children and previous experience caring for them (e.g., babysitting, volunteering, younger siblings).
  • Good command of the English language.
  • Ability to commit to a cultural exchange program for a minimum of 6-12 months.
  • Flexible, adaptable, and a positive attitude.
  • Responsible, mature, and dependable.
  • Non-smoker.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Valid driver's license (not essential, but a plus).
  • First Aid certification.
  • Experience with children of various age groups.
  • Interest in British culture and traditions.
