Job Description
Join the GarageExperts of Tampa Bay team as a Garage Storage Installer, providing essential manual support to our installation projects. This role involves the physical installation of garage storage systems, including cabinets, shelving, overhead racks, and other organizational products. You will be instrumental in delivering high-quality, durable solutions that exceed client expectations, ensuring every project is completed safely, efficiently, and to our exacting standards. This is a hands-on position requiring physical stamina, attention to detail, and a commitment to teamwork.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist lead installers in the efficient and safe installation of garage storage systems, including cabinets, shelving, and overhead racks.
- Perform manual labor tasks such as lifting, carrying, measuring, cutting, and securing materials.
- Operate various hand and power tools safely and effectively.
- Ensure all installations meet company quality standards and client specifications.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment on job sites.
- Communicate effectively with team members and clients.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines.
- Prepare job sites, including protecting client property and setting up equipment.
Required Skills
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting up to 75 lbs, bending, kneeling, and standing for extended periods.
- Basic proficiency with hand and power tools.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Reliable transportation to and from job sites.
- Excellent work ethic and a positive, team-oriented attitude.
- Punctual and dependable.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience in construction, carpentry, general labor, or similar hands-on roles.
- Experience with garage organization systems or custom cabinetry installation.
- A valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
- Ability to read and interpret basic blueprints or installation diagrams.
