Job Description
Join Kier Group as a Traffic Controller and play a vital role in ensuring the safety and smooth flow of traffic around our construction and infrastructure projects in Harrogate and the wider North Yorkshire area. Key Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently direct vehicle and pedestrian traffic around work sites.
- Set up and remove traffic management signs, cones, and barriers according to site plans and safety regulations.
- Communicate clearly and professionally with drivers, pedestrians, and construction personnel.
- Monitor traffic flow and adjust controls as necessary to minimize disruption.
- Adhere strictly to all health and safety guidelines and procedures.
- Report any incidents, hazards, or near misses promptly to supervisors.
- Maintain a professional and vigilant presence at all times.
- Work effectively as part of a team to achieve project goals.
- Participate actively in all required training and development programs.
