As a consultant, you will be the face of Sephora, helping clients discover their perfect products, providing personalized advice, and ensuring an exceptional shopping experience. Key Responsibilities
- Greet and engage with clients in a friendly and professional manner, understanding their beauty needs and preferences.
- Provide expert advice and product recommendations across makeup, skincare, fragrance, and hair care categories.
- Demonstrate product application techniques and offer mini-makeovers or skincare consultations.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing sales floor and product displays.
- Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently using our point-of-sale system.
- Assist with inventory management, including stocking shelves and conducting product counts.
- Stay up-to-date with new product launches, beauty trends, and brand knowledge through continuous training.
- Contribute to a positive and collaborative team environment, fostering a culture of support and success.
Required Skills
- A genuine passion for beauty, cosmetics, and client service.
- Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new products and procedures.
- A positive attitude and strong work ethic.
- Availability to work flexible retail hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
Preferred Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a customer service or retail environment (not necessarily beauty-related).
- Familiarity with Sephora products and brands is a plus.
