Job Description
Are you looking for a dynamic part-time opportunity to contribute to a world-class e-commerce operation? Amazon is seeking enthusiastic and reliable Part-time Order Fillers for our weekend shift at our state-of-the-art e-commerce warehouse in Provo, UT. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately and efficiently picking, packing, and preparing customer orders for shipment, playing a crucial part in our mission to deliver smiles. This position offers consistent weekend hours, a fast-paced work environment, and the chance to be part of a leading global company.
Key Responsibilities
- Accurately pick and retrieve products from warehouse shelves based on order sheets or handheld devices.
- Efficiently pack items, ensuring proper handling and protection for shipment.
- Operate basic warehouse equipment, such as pallet jacks or carts (training provided).
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, adhering to all safety protocols.
- Assist with inventory management tasks, including counting and restocking products as needed.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily production goals and ensure timely order fulfillment.
- Perform quality checks on packed orders to ensure accuracy and prevent damage.
Required Skills
- Ability to read and understand English instructions and order details.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Capable of standing, walking, bending, and lifting up to 49 pounds for extended periods.
- Reliable and punctual, with a commitment to working scheduled weekend shifts.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic computer literacy for using scanning devices and warehouse systems (training provided).
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a warehouse, fulfillment, or similar logistics environment.
- Familiarity with inventory management systems or RF scanners.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
