Job Description
Are you ready to take control of your career and become your own boss? FedEx Ground is seeking motivated entrepreneurs to join our network as Independent Contractors. This is a unique business opportunity where you will establish and grow your own package delivery company, partnering with FedEx Ground to provide pickup and delivery services for residential and commercial customers. You will manage your own routes, team, and vehicle fleet, leveraging FedEx Ground’s established brand and infrastructure. This role offers the freedom of business ownership with the backing of a world-renowned logistics leader.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate and grow your own package delivery business, adhering to FedEx Ground service standards.
- Manage a team of drivers (if applicable) to ensure efficient and timely package pickup and delivery.
- Maintain and operate a fleet of vehicles suitable for package delivery, meeting all safety and compliance regulations.
- Plan and optimize delivery routes for maximum efficiency and customer satisfaction.
- Ensure exceptional customer service and accurate package handling.
- Manage all aspects of your business, including financials, personnel, and compliance.
- Adhere to all local, state, and federal transportation and business regulations.
Required Skills
- Strong entrepreneurial spirit and business acumen.
- Ability to manage and motivate a team (if applicable).
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Proven ability to meet deadlines and manage logistics.
- Commitment to customer service excellence.
- Valid driver's license and a clean driving record (for drivers working for the contractor).

- Experience managing a small team or fleet.
