Job Description

Join Michigan Medicine as an Emergency Room (ER) Nurse and become a vital part of our fast-paced, high-acuity environment. We are actively seeking skilled and compassionate ER Nurses who require LMIA approval and visa support to relocate and work in the United States. In this role, you will provide critical, life-saving care to patients experiencing a wide range of medical emergencies. You will utilize your expertise in assessment, intervention, and patient education to stabilize patients, manage emergent conditions, and ensure the best possible outcomes. Key Responsibilities

  • Perform rapid and accurate patient assessments, prioritizing life-threatening conditions.
  • Administer medications, perform treatments, and assist with medical procedures as prescribed by physicians.
  • Monitor and interpret vital signs, cardiac rhythms, and other physiological parameters.
  • Develop and implement individualized patient care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team.
  • Provide compassionate care and support to patients and their families during times of crisis.
  • Document all patient care activities accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Maintain a safe and clean working environment, adhering to all infection control protocols.
  • Participate in continuing education and professional development activities.

Required Skills

  • Current Registered Nurse (RN) license or eligibility for licensure in Michigan.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a registered nurse, preferably in an acute care setting.
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification.
  • Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree.
  • Previous experience in an Emergency Department or critical care unit.
  • Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) certification.
  • Certified Emergency Nurse (CEN) certification.
