Job Description
We are looking for enthusiastic and detail-oriented high school students to join our team as Stock Replenishment Associates. This entry-level position is perfect for individuals eager to gain valuable work experience in a fast-paced grocery retail environment. You will be responsible for ensuring our shelves are well-stocked, organized, and presentable, contributing directly to a positive shopping experience for our customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive and unload merchandise deliveries efficiently and safely.
- Stock shelves, displays, and coolers with products according to planograms and company standards.
- Rotate products to ensure freshness and minimize waste.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe backroom and sales floor area.
- Assist customers with locating products and provide friendly, helpful service when needed.
- Operate equipment such as pallet jacks and hand trucks (with proper training and certification, if applicable).
- Monitor inventory levels and report discrepancies to management.
- Adhere to all safety and sanitation guidelines.
- Perform other duties as assigned by store management.
Required Skills
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs regularly.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Must be at least 16 years old.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a retail or customer service setting (not required but a plus).
- Enrollment in high school or equivalent educational program.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
