Job Description
Join Electronic Arts as a Night Shift QA Analyst, specializing in our EA Sports titles. This is a crucial role where you will contribute significantly to the quality and polish of our next-generation sports games. Working during the night shift, you’ll have a direct impact on the player experience, ensuring our games meet the highest standards of excellence. Key Responsibilities
- Execute comprehensive test plans and procedures for EA Sports titles during assigned night shifts.
- Thoroughly identify, document, and track software defects and inconsistencies using internal bug tracking tools.
- Perform detailed regression testing to verify bug fixes and ensure the stability of game features.
- Collaborate effectively with development, design, and production teams to communicate issues and provide valuable feedback.
- Provide clear, concise, and objective bug reports and status updates.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of QA processes and methodologies.
- Maintain a deep understanding of game design specifications and player experience goals.
- Adapt to changing priorities and fast-paced development cycles.
- Ensure all testing activities are compliant with EA's quality standards and timelines.
Required Skills
- Exceptional attention to detail and strong analytical problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- Proficiency with bug tracking software (e.g., JIRA, Bugzilla).
- Ability to work effectively and autonomously during night hours.
- A deep passion for video games, especially sports titles.
- Familiarity with various gaming platforms (PC, console, mobile).

Preferred Qualifications
- 1+ years of experience in Quality Assurance, preferably within the video game industry.
- Knowledge of specific EA Sports titles (e.g., FIFA, Madden NFL, NHL, F1, etc.).
- Familiarity with game development lifecycles and agile methodologies.
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., Computer Science, Game Design, Software Engineering) or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience with test automation tools or scripting.
