Job Description
We are seeking a motivated and technically inclined individual to join our team as a Conveyor System Tech. Key Responsibilities
- Participate actively in all provided technical training sessions, demonstrating eagerness to learn and apply new skills.
- Perform routine preventative maintenance on conveyor systems, sortation equipment, and other material handling machinery under supervision.
- Assist experienced technicians in diagnosing and troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic issues.
- Execute repairs and adjustments to ensure optimal system performance and minimize downtime.
- Adhere strictly to all safety protocols and procedures, promoting a safe working environment.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, parts used, and system performance.
- Collaborate with team members and operational staff to address equipment issues promptly.
- Continuously learn and adapt to new technologies and processes as they are introduced.
Required Skills
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics (training provided).
- Basic understanding of electrical principles is a plus, but not required.
- Willingness to work in a physically demanding environment, including standing, walking, lifting, and climbing.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- A strong desire to learn and grow within a technical field.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights and weekends.
Preferred Qualifications
