Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Sales & Account Management Intern to join our B2B team in Hackney, London. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to kickstart their career in sales and account management within a fast-paced, innovative tech company. You will gain hands-on experience in supporting our sales cycle, nurturing client relationships, and contributing to the growth of our small business ecosystem. This is a paid internship designed to provide valuable real-world experience and mentorship.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the sales team with lead generation, qualification, and initial outreach efforts.
- Support Account Managers in maintaining and developing strong relationships with existing B2B clients.
- Utilize CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) to track interactions, manage data, and generate reports.
- Conduct market research to identify potential new business opportunities and industry trends.
- Prepare sales presentations, proposals, and other client-facing materials.
- Participate in client meetings and internal strategy sessions, learning best practices in B2B sales.
- Collaborate with marketing and product teams to ensure alignment with sales objectives.
- Provide administrative support to the sales and account management functions as needed.
Required Skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with a desire to build relationships.
- Proactive, self-motivated, and eager to learn about B2B sales.
- Proficiency in Google Workspace or Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- A keen interest in cloud technology and small business solutions.
Preferred Qualifications
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- Previous internship or work experience in a customer-facing role.
- Familiarity with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce).
- Understanding of the SaaS business model.
