Job Description

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Work From Home Logistics Dispatcher to join our remote team. In this critical role, you will be responsible for coordinating the efficient movement of packages and freight, managing dispatch schedules, and communicating effectively with drivers, clients, and internal teams. You will utilize advanced dispatching software to monitor routes, optimize delivery sequences, and resolve any operational issues that may arise, all from the comfort of your home office. Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and dispatch drivers for package and freight pickup and delivery routes.
  • Monitor real-time progress of deliveries and pickups, ensuring timely completion.
  • Communicate effectively with drivers regarding schedules, route changes, and delivery instructions.
  • Address and resolve operational issues, delays, or emergencies promptly.
  • Utilize dispatch software and GPS tracking systems to optimize routes and maximize efficiency.
  • Maintain accurate records of dispatch activities, driver logs, and delivery statuses.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by responding to inquiries and updating clients on delivery statuses.
  • Collaborate with other logistics team members to ensure smooth daily operations.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance dispatch efficiency.
