Key Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently deliver food orders from local restaurants and grocery stores to customers' doors.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations while on the road.
- Maintain a friendly and professional attitude when interacting with customers and restaurant staff.
- Manage your delivery schedule and routes effectively using the Deliveroo rider app.
- Ensure the quality and integrity of food items during transit.
Required Skills
- Valid UK moped/scooter driving license (Category AM, A1, A2, or A)
- Access to a reliable scooter or moped with valid insurance and MOT
- Right to work in the UK
- Proficiency in spoken English
- Excellent knowledge of Southend-on-Sea and surrounding areas
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Customer-focused attitude with good communication abilities
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a delivery or courier role
- Familiarity with the Deliveroo rider app
- Own a smartphone with a reliable data plan
