Job Description
We are seeking a highly professional and experienced Luxury Sedan Operator to join our elite team. The ideal candidate will possess an impeccable driving record, exceptional customer service skills, and a deep understanding of luxury client expectations. This role involves safely and comfortably transporting clients to their destinations, maintaining the highest standards of vehicle presentation, and ensuring a seamless, stress-free travel experience. You will be an ambassador for Signature Transportation Group, representing our brand with every interaction in the vibrant La Jolla area and beyond.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely and punctually transport clients to various destinations, adhering to pre-scheduled itineraries and routes.
- Maintain a pristine and immaculate appearance of the assigned luxury sedan, both interior and exterior, before and after each trip.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle, reporting any maintenance needs promptly to ensure client safety and comfort.
- Provide exceptional customer service, including assisting clients with luggage, opening and closing doors, and offering amenities with a polite and professional demeanor.
- Maintain strict confidentiality and discretion regarding client information and activities at all times.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies, ensuring compliance and a safe driving environment.
- Effectively use navigation systems and stay informed about local traffic patterns and alternative routes to ensure timely arrivals.
- Keep accurate records of trips, mileage, and fuel consumption, submitting documentation as required.
- Represent Signature Transportation Group with the utmost professionalism and courtesy during every interaction.
Required Skills
- Minimum 3 years of professional driving experience (e.g., limousine, executive chauffeur, premium ride-share services)
- Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) with no moving violations or at-fault accidents for the past 5 years
- Valid Class C (or equivalent) Driver's License in good standing
- Excellent knowledge of the San Diego metropolitan area, including major routes, landmarks, and traffic patterns in La Jolla and surrounding regions
- Superior customer service and interpersonal communication skills, with a focus on discretion and professionalism
- Professional demeanor and immaculate personal appearance
- Ability to operate GPS and smartphone applications effectively for dispatch and navigation
- Must pass a comprehensive background check and drug screening as part of the hiring process
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience operating luxury sedans (e.g., Mercedes-Benz S-Class, BMW 7 Series, Audi A8, Lexus LS)
- Defensive driving certification or advanced driver training
- First Aid/CPR certification
- Multilingual abilities (e.g., Spanish, Mandarin) to better serve diverse clientele
