Job Description
We are seeking dedicated and compassionate Caregivers to join our team in Baltimore, MD. This is an immediate hire opportunity for individuals who successfully complete a background check and meet our core requirements. As a Caregiver, you will provide essential personal care and support to clients in their homes, helping them maintain independence and enhance their quality of life. Key Responsibilities
- Provide assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Assist clients with mobility and transfers, using proper techniques and equipment.
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding as needed.
- Perform light housekeeping tasks, including laundry and tidying client living areas.
- Provide companionship and engage clients in stimulating activities.
- Accompany clients to appointments and on errands as required.
- Monitor and report changes in client health or behavior to the supervising nurse.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and healthy environment for clients.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including infection control protocols.
Required Skills
- High school diploma or GED.
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background check and drug screening.
- Compassionate and patient demeanor.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Reliable transportation and valid driver's license (preferred, but not always required).
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and perform duties requiring physical stamina.
- Proof of eligibility to work in the U.S.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience in caregiving or a related field (e.g., CNA, HHA, personal care assistant).
- Certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Home Health Aide (HHA).
- First Aid and CPR certification.
- Familiarity with basic medical terminology.
