Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Apple Account Auditor to join our dynamic team. This is a 100% remote position focused on ensuring the accuracy and financial integrity of accounts related to Apple’s ecosystem, including vendor, partner, and internal operational accounts. The successful candidate will play a critical role in identifying discrepancies, reconciling financial data, and implementing best practices to maintain robust financial controls and compliance. You will leverage your expertise in auditing and financial analysis to support our clients in achieving operational excellence and mitigating financial risks. This role requires exceptional analytical skills, a meticulous approach, and the ability to work independently in a remote environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough audits of Apple-related accounts, including revenue recognition, cost analysis, and partner settlements, to ensure accuracy and compliance with contractual agreements and internal policies.
- Reconcile complex financial data from various sources, identifying and investigating discrepancies, and proposing corrective actions.
- Develop and implement audit plans, procedures, and methodologies tailored to Apple's unique business models and financial structures.
- Prepare detailed audit reports, presenting findings, recommendations, and action plans to internal stakeholders and clients.
- Collaborate with finance, legal, and operational teams to understand business processes, identify control weaknesses, and recommend improvements.
- Stay abreast of industry best practices, regulatory changes, and Apple's evolving financial policies to ensure ongoing compliance.
- Provide subject matter expertise on financial controls and risk management to support strategic decision-making.
Required Skills
- Proven experience in financial auditing, account reconciliation, and risk assessment.
- Strong understanding of GAAP/IFRS principles and financial reporting standards.
- Proficiency with financial auditing software and enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems.
- Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking abilities.
- High level of attention to detail and accuracy in all work.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for presenting complex financial information.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a remote work environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (advanced functions, data analysis).
Preferred Qualifications
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) certification.
- Experience auditing accounts within the technology or telecommunications industry, particularly related to platforms or ecosystems.
- Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Familiarity with Apple's developer programs, App Store economics, or partner agreements.
- Experience with data analytics tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) for large datasets.
