Job Description

Join Applied Materials, a global leader in materials engineering solutions, at our state-of-the-art clean room warehouse facility in San Jose. We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Clean Room Warehouse Associate. In this critical role, you will be responsible for the precise handling, storage, and distribution of sensitive materials within a strictly controlled, dust-free, laboratory-like environment. This position requires meticulous attention to detail, adherence to stringent safety and quality protocols, and a commitment to maintaining the integrity of our clean room operations. Key Responsibilities

  • Perform material handling, receiving, and shipping of components and finished goods within a clean room environment.
  • Adhere strictly to clean room protocols, including gowning procedures and contamination control.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records through meticulous data entry and regular cycle counts.
  • Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and hand trucks (and potentially forklifts if certified) safely and efficiently.
  • Inspect incoming and outgoing materials for damage or discrepancies, reporting any issues promptly.
  • Ensure all warehouse areas are kept clean, organized, and compliant with safety and quality standards.
  • Collaborate with production and quality control teams to support seamless material flow.
  • Assist in the preparation of materials for manufacturing and packaging processes.

Required Skills

  • Proven ability to follow detailed instructions and standard operating procedures.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
  • Basic computer proficiency for inventory tracking and data entry.
  • Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting up to 50 lbs, standing, and walking for extended periods.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Understanding of basic warehouse operations.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience working in a clean room or controlled environment.
  • Experience with inventory management systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
  • Forklift certification.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
