Job Description
We are seeking enthusiastic and reliable individuals to join our team as Part-time Weekend Sorters at our Irvine, CA facility. As a Ground Sorter, you will play a crucial role in our package sorting and distribution process, ensuring packages are handled efficiently and accurately. This position involves physical labor in a fast-paced warehouse environment. Key Responsibilities
- Load and unload packages from company vehicles and trailers.
- Scan packages accurately using handheld devices.
- Sort packages by destination, ensuring they are placed on the correct conveyors or in designated areas.
- Lift, push, pull, and carry packages weighing up to 50 lbs (or more with assistance).
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies.
- Work effectively as part of a team to meet daily operational goals.
Required Skills
- Ability to lift, push, pull, and carry packages up to 50 lbs regularly.
- Ability to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
- Basic literacy skills to read labels and package information.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, warehouse environment.
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a warehouse, logistics, or similar physical labor role.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Experience with package scanning equipment.
