Job Description
Join Capgemini as a Quality Assurance (QA/QC) Engineer and play a crucial role in delivering high-quality software solutions for our diverse client portfolio. Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts for new features and existing functionalities.
- Identify, document, and track bugs and defects using appropriate bug tracking systems.
- Perform various types of testing, including functional, regression, integration, performance, and user acceptance testing.
- Collaborate closely with development teams, product owners, and business analysts to understand requirements and ensure testability.
- Participate in requirement reviews, design reviews, and provide constructive feedback.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of QA processes, tools, and methodologies.
- Prepare and present test reports, summarizing testing efforts and results.
Required Skills
- Proven experience in software quality assurance or quality control.
- Strong understanding of QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
- Experience with manual and automated testing techniques.
- Familiarity with test management and bug tracking tools (e.g., Jira, Azure DevOps, TestRail).
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in an Agile/Scrum development environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience with scripting languages (e.g., Python, JavaScript) for test automation.
- Knowledge of performance and security testing principles.
- ISTQB certification.
- Experience working in a consulting environment.
