Job Description
We are seeking a highly detail-oriented and motivated Recycling Data Annotator to join our Smart Working Green team in Sandy, UT. In this role, you will play a crucial part in enhancing our AI and machine learning capabilities by accurately labeling and categorizing data related to recycling processes, waste streams, and environmental metrics. Your contributions will directly support the development of smarter, more efficient, and sustainable waste management solutions. This position requires meticulous attention to detail, a strong work ethic, and a passion for environmental sustainability.
Key Responsibilities
- Accurately annotate and categorize various types of data (images, text, sensor data) related to recycling materials, waste composition, and operational processes.
- Follow precise guidelines and protocols for data labeling to ensure high-quality and consistent annotations.
- Identify and escalate discrepancies, ambiguities, or issues within the data to team leads for clarification.
- Collaborate with data scientists and engineers to refine annotation guidelines and improve data quality.
- Maintain a high level of productivity and meet daily/weekly annotation targets.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of our data annotation tools and processes.
- Ensure data confidentiality and adhere to company data security policies.
Required Skills
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proficiency in using basic computer applications and web browsers.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to follow complex instructions consistently.
- Demonstrated interest in environmental sustainability or recycling.
