Job Description

Are you eager to learn a skilled trade and start a rewarding career? Wren Kitchens is looking for enthusiastic and reliable Furniture Fitter Mates to join our professional installation teams. This is a fantastic opportunity to travel with an experienced fitter, learn the intricacies of kitchen and furniture installation, and contribute to creating dream spaces for our customers. You’ll gain hands-on experience, develop valuable skills, and be paid weekly for your hard work and dedication.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist senior fitters with the unloading, carrying, and positioning of furniture components and tools at customer sites.
  • Learn and apply basic installation techniques under direct supervision, including drilling, fixing, and assembly.
  • Ensure all work areas are kept tidy and safe, both during and after installation.
  • Handle materials and tools with care, maintaining company equipment in good condition.
  • Communicate effectively with senior fitters and customers, ensuring a professional and courteous approach.
  • Adhere to all health and safety guidelines and company procedures.
  • Travel extensively with your team to various customer locations across the region.

Required Skills

  • Eagerness to learn and develop new skills in furniture fitting.
  • Strong physical fitness and ability to lift and carry heavy items safely.
  • Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Full UK driving license is advantageous, as occasional driving of company vehicles may be required.
  • Previous experience in a trade, construction, or manual labor role.
  • Basic knowledge of hand and power tools.
  • An understanding of health and safety practices in a construction or home environment.
