Job Description
As a Bank Teller II at Chase Bank in Boulder, CO, you will be a vital front-line representative, playing a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service and processing banking transactions with efficiency and accuracy. You will be responsible for handling customer inquiries, processing deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, and other financial transactions while actively identifying opportunities to cross-sell bank products and services. Key Responsibilities
- Process various customer transactions including deposits, withdrawals, payments, and cashing checks accurately and efficiently.
- Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction by providing friendly, professional, and prompt service.
- Identify customer needs and effectively cross-sell appropriate bank products and services.
- Balance cash drawer daily and adhere to all bank policies, procedures, and regulatory compliance requirements.
- Resolve customer issues and inquiries, escalating complex problems to management when necessary.
- Assist with branch operational duties, including opening and closing procedures, and maintaining a neat and organized work environment.
- Educate customers on self-service options and digital banking tools.
Required Skills
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a bank teller or in a related cash-handling role.
- Proven ability to provide exceptional customer service and build rapport.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in handling transactions.
- Proficiency in basic computer applications and ability to learn new banking software quickly.
- Demonstrated ability to identify and resolve customer issues effectively.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
Preferred Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Business, Finance, or a related field.
- Experience with Chase Bank's systems or similar banking platforms.
- Bilingual proficiency (e.g., Spanish, Mandarin) is a plus.
- Prior experience with sales or referral goals in a financial setting.
