Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Midstream Logistics Coordinator to join our Houston Hub team. This role is critical in ensuring the seamless and efficient movement of various energy products across our extensive midstream infrastructure. The ideal candidate will manage logistics operations, optimize transportation routes, and ensure compliance with all safety and regulatory standards. You will work closely with internal teams, external partners, and carriers to maintain operational efficiency and responsiveness in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate the scheduling, dispatching, and tracking of product movements via pipeline, rail, truck, and marine vessels.
  • Monitor inventory levels at various storage facilities and terminals, optimizing product flow to meet demand.
  • Liaise with internal commercial, scheduling, and operations teams to align logistics activities with overall business goals.
  • Manage carrier relationships, ensuring timely and cost-effective transportation services.
  • Prepare and maintain accurate logistics documentation, including bills of lading, manifests, and shipping records.
  • Identify and resolve logistics-related issues, such as delays, damages, and discrepancies, in a timely manner.
  • Ensure strict adherence to all safety protocols, environmental regulations, and company policies.
  • Analyze logistics data to identify areas for improvement in efficiency, cost, and service quality.
  • Participate in emergency response planning and execution as required.

Required Skills

  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in logistics, supply chain, or operations within the energy or petrochemical industry.
  • Proficiency in logistics management software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
  • Strong understanding of midstream energy product transportation methods (pipeline, rail, truck, marine).
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to issue resolution.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with SAP or other ERP systems.
  • Knowledge of relevant industry regulations (e.g., DOT, OSHA, USCG).
  • Certification in Logistics, Supply Chain Management (e.g., CSCP, CTL).
  • Prior experience with commodity trading and risk management systems.
