Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-centric Retail Banker to join our team in Wesley Chapel, Florida. This role is perfect for individuals passionate about building relationships, providing exceptional service, and helping clients achieve their financial goals. As a Retail Banker, you will be the face of Truist, assisting clients with their banking needs, identifying opportunities to offer suitable products and services, and processing transactions accurately and efficiently. Key Responsibilities

  • Engage clients in meaningful conversations to understand their financial needs and goals.
  • Process routine banking transactions accurately, including deposits, withdrawals, transfers, and loan payments.
  • Educate clients on Truist's full range of products and services, including checking accounts, savings accounts, credit cards, loans, and digital banking solutions.
  • Proactively identify sales opportunities and refer clients to specialists for complex needs (e.g., mortgage, investment).
  • Resolve client inquiries and issues promptly and professionally, escalating when necessary.
  • Maintain a comprehensive understanding of bank products, services, and compliance regulations.
  • Build and nurture strong, long-lasting client relationships to foster loyalty and retention.
  • Actively participate in branch meetings and training to enhance product knowledge and sales skills.
  • Adhere to all bank policies, procedures, and security protocols.
  • Contribute to a positive and collaborative team environment.

Required Skills

  • Minimum of 6 months of experience in customer service, retail, or sales.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strong ability to build rapport and establish trust with clients.
  • Demonstrated ability to identify client needs and present solutions.
  • Basic computer proficiency and comfort with technology.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous banking or financial services experience.
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or related field.
  • Experience with cash handling and balancing.
  • NMLS registration (or willingness to obtain upon hire).
