Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and SEO-savvy Blog SEO Transcriptionist to join our dynamic content team. This role focuses on transcribing audio and video content into written blog posts and descriptions, with a critical emphasis on integrating SEO best practices, keyword optimization, and compelling storytelling. You will play a vital role in transforming spoken content into high-ranking, engaging written material that captures audience attention and drives organic traffic. This is a 100% remote position, offering flexibility and the opportunity to contribute to a wide range of exciting projects from anywhere.
Key Responsibilities
- Transcribe audio and video recordings accurately and efficiently into written content, primarily for blog posts and descriptions.
- Optimize transcribed content for search engines by strategically integrating target keywords, latent semantic indexing (LSI) keywords, and relevant phrases.
- Craft engaging and informative descriptions that capture the essence of the content while adhering to SEO best practices.
- Review and edit transcriptions for grammar, punctuation, spelling, clarity, and factual accuracy.
- Ensure all content aligns with client brand guidelines, tone of voice, and content strategy.
- Collaborate with content strategists and SEO specialists to refine content for maximum organic visibility and user engagement.
- Manage multiple transcription and optimization projects simultaneously, meeting deadlines consistently.
Required Skills
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Proven experience in transcription, with a strong portfolio showcasing accuracy and speed.
- Fundamental understanding of SEO principles, including keyword research, on-page optimization, and content structuring.
- Proficiency with transcription software and tools.
- High attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality, error-free content.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a digital marketing agency or a similar content-focused role.
- Familiarity with various content management systems (e.g., WordPress, HubSpot).
- Experience using SEO tools like SEMrush, Ahrefs, Moz, or Google Keyword Planner.
