Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Search Quality Analyst to join our remote team. This role is crucial for enhancing the visibility and accuracy of UPS-related information across major search engines like Google and Bing. The successful candidate will play a vital role in analyzing search engine results, identifying areas for improvement, and ensuring our online presence accurately reflects our brand and services. This is a 100% remote position, allowing you to work from the comfort of your home.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze search engine results pages (SERPs) for UPS-related queries on Google and Bing.
  • Evaluate the relevance, accuracy, and quality of search results, identifying discrepancies and areas for improvement.
  • Provide detailed feedback and data-driven insights to internal teams (e.g., SEO, marketing, content).
  • Monitor search algorithm updates and their potential impact on UPS's search visibility.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement strategies that enhance search quality and user experience.
  • Stay informed about industry best practices and emerging trends in search quality and SEO.
  • Perform competitive analysis to understand how UPS performs against competitors in search results.

Required Skills

  • Proven experience in search engine analysis, SEO, or digital marketing.
  • Strong understanding of Google and Bing search algorithms and ranking factors.
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and provide actionable recommendations.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and critical thinking.
  • Proficiency in using search analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Bing Webmaster Tools).
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Experience with large enterprise-level websites and data sets.
  • Familiarity with various content management systems (CMS).
  • Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript as they relate to SEO.
