Job Description

The Columbus Dispatch is seeking enthusiastic and reliable individuals to join our team as Newspaper Inserters. This role is perfect for teens and students seeking their first job or looking to earn extra income. You will be responsible for accurately inserting advertising flyers, supplements, and other materials into our newspapers before distribution. This is a straightforward, hands-on role in a fast-paced production environment, crucial for ensuring our readers receive complete and timely publications.
Key Responsibilities
- Accurately insert pre-printed advertising materials, supplements, and special sections into newspapers.
- Monitor the insertion process to ensure quality and completeness of each newspaper.
- Work efficiently in a production line setting to meet daily deadlines.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Follow all safety procedures and company guidelines.
- Assist with other production-related tasks as needed.
Required Skills
- Ability to work quickly and accurately.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Reliable and punctual.
- Ability to stand for extended periods.
- Ability to lift bundles of newspapers (up to 25 lbs) occasionally.

Preferred Qualifications
