Job Description
Join our team as a Public Transit Secret Rider and play a crucial role in maintaining the high standards of Pasco County Public Transportation. In this stable, full-time position, you will secretly evaluate our bus and train services from a passenger’s perspective, providing essential feedback on service quality, safety protocols, driver performance, and overall customer experience. Your observations will directly contribute to our commitment to excellence and passenger satisfaction. Key Responsibilities
- Discreetly ride various PCPT bus and train routes according to a scheduled plan.
- Observe and document specific aspects of the transit service, including adherence to schedules, cleanliness of vehicles, safety procedures, and driver professionalism.
- Evaluate the overall passenger experience, including ease of boarding, comfort, and information availability.
- Assess the condition and functionality of transit vehicles and stops.
- Provide detailed, objective, and timely written reports on observations and findings.
- Maintain strict confidentiality regarding your role and findings.
- Identify areas for improvement and suggest actionable recommendations.
- Adhere to all company policies and ethical guidelines for secret shoppers.
Required Skills
- Exceptional observational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Ability to work independently and maintain high levels of discretion.
- Reliability and punctuality for scheduled rides.
- Proficiency in using basic reporting tools (e.g., Google Docs, Microsoft Word).
- Ability to blend in as a regular passenger.
- A valid driver's license and reliable transportation to access various transit stops.

- Previous experience in mystery shopping, quality assurance, or customer service evaluation.
