Job Description
Join our dynamic team at FedEx as a Weekend Warehouse Warrior, where you’ll play a critical role in our logistics operations every Saturday and Sunday. This position offers premium rates for weekend shifts, recognizing the essential contribution you make to our delivery network. You will be responsible for handling packages, loading and unloading trucks, sorting freight, and maintaining a safe and organized warehouse environment. Key Responsibilities
- Load and unload freight safely and efficiently from trucks and trailers.
- Sort packages manually or with equipment, ensuring proper routing.
- Scan and document package information accurately.
- Operate pallet jacks and other warehouse equipment as needed (training provided).
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area at all times.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures.
- Work effectively as part of a team to meet daily operational goals.
Required Skills
- Ability to lift and move packages up to 75 lbs.
- Physical stamina for standing, walking, bending, and lifting for extended periods.
- Basic communication and teamwork skills.
- Reliability and punctuality for weekend shifts.
