Job Description

Are you ready to make a splash this summer? Raging Waters San Dimas is seeking enthusiastic and customer-focused individuals to join our team as a Water Park Guest Host for the upcoming summer season. This outdoor, seasonal position is perfect for someone who loves interacting with people, thrives in a dynamic environment, and wants to contribute to a fun and safe experience for all our guests. As a Guest Host, you will be the face of our park, providing exceptional service, assisting with guest needs, and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere across various areas of the park. This is an excellent opportunity to gain valuable experience in the hospitality and entertainment industry.

Key Responsibilities

  • Greet guests warmly upon arrival and departure, providing a positive first and last impression.
  • Answer guest questions about park attractions, services, and policies with accuracy and enthusiasm.
  • Provide directional assistance and general information to enhance the guest experience.
  • Assist guests with ticket scanning, wristband distribution, and locker rentals as needed.
  • Monitor guest flow and manage queues efficiently at various park entrances, attractions, and dining areas.
  • Help maintain cleanliness and organization in designated guest areas, including restrooms and common spaces.
  • Address guest concerns and resolve minor issues politely and professionally, escalating complex situations to management.
  • Ensure compliance with park rules and safety guidelines by politely reminding guests when necessary.
  • Operate point-of-sale systems for retail or food services if assigned to those areas.
  • Collaborate with other team members to ensure seamless park operations and guest satisfaction.
  • Participate in daily team briefings and adhere to all operational procedures.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a customer service or guest relations role.
  • Ability to speak multiple languages (Spanish highly desirable).
  • Basic knowledge of water park operations or recreational facilities.
  • CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
