Job Description

Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate a commercial motor vehicle (Class A CDL) in accordance with all federal, state, and local regulations.
- Perform pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections of vehicles and equipment.
- Accurately complete and maintain all required paperwork, including logbooks (ELDs), bills of lading, and inspection reports.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures, including safety protocols and service standards.
- Ensure timely and efficient delivery of freight to designated locations.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, customers, and other team members.
- Secure cargo properly to prevent shifting or damage during transit.
Required Skills
- Must possess a valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
- Completion of an accredited CDL training program.
- Ability to pass a DOT physical examination and drug screen.
- Clean driving record with no major violations.
- Strong commitment to safety and adherence to all traffic laws.
- Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
- Basic understanding of DOT regulations and ELD operations.
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with electronic logging devices (ELDs).
- Prior experience with customer service or delivery roles.
- Mechanical aptitude for basic vehicle troubleshooting.
