Job Description
Are you a 17-year-old high school student looking for your first job or a way to earn some extra money after school? Target in Grand Forks is seeking enthusiastic and reliable Warehouse Sorters to join our logistics team. This part-time role is perfect for someone looking for consistent work from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM, Monday through Friday, helping us maintain an organized and efficient warehouse environment. You’ll play a crucial role in ensuring products are ready for our guests, learning valuable organizational and teamwork skills along the way.
Key Responsibilities
- Efficiently sort incoming merchandise, ensuring items are placed in designated areas.
- Unpack and inspect products for damage or discrepancies, reporting issues to supervisors.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following all safety protocols.
- Assist with basic inventory organization and stock rotation.
- Operate warehouse equipment safely and efficiently after receiving proper training.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve daily sorting and organizational goals.
Required Skills
- Must be 17 years of age or older.
- Ability to lift and move packages up to 25 lbs regularly.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Reliable and punctual, with a strong work ethic.
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
- Basic communication skills.
