Job Description
We are seeking dedicated and meticulous individuals to join our team as an Aircraft Cabin Cleaner for the overnight shift. In this critical role, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and sanitation of aircraft interiors, preparing them for safe and comfortable travel. This is a full-time position offering weekly pay, providing a steady and reliable income. You will work as part of a dynamic team committed to maintaining the highest standards of hygiene and presentation for FedEx’s fleet. This role requires attention to detail, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team during late-night hours. Key Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of all aircraft interior surfaces, including seats, galleys, lavatories, and cockpit areas.
- Vacuum, sweep, and mop cabin floors and aisles.
- Empty and dispose of trash and waste materials from all compartments.
- Replenish supplies such as tissues, soap, and other amenities in lavatories.
- Wipe down and disinfect tray tables, armrests, windows, and other high-touch surfaces.
- Inspect aircraft cabins for any maintenance issues or damages and report them to supervisors.
- Ensure all cleaning procedures comply with company safety and sanitation standards.
- Operate cleaning equipment safely and efficiently.
- Work collaboratively with ground crew and other team members to ensure timely turnaround of aircraft.
- Adhere to all security protocols and procedures while working on airport premises.
Required Skills
- Ability to work overnight shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality work.
- Physical stamina to stand, walk, bend, lift (up to 50 lbs), and climb stairs for extended periods.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Reliable transportation to and from the worksite during overnight hours.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Basic understanding of safety procedures and willingness to follow all guidelines.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial services.
- Experience working in an aviation or airport environment.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
