Job Description
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Digital Photo & Album Organizer to join our remote team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing, categorizing, and optimizing vast collections of digital images and photo albums. This is a unique opportunity to work from anywhere, leveraging your keen eye for detail and organizational skills to ensure our digital assets are meticulously cataloged and easily accessible. The ideal candidate will have a passion for photography and a strong understanding of digital asset management best practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Organize and categorize large volumes of digital photographs and photo albums according to established guidelines and metadata standards.
- Tag, keyword, and add descriptive information to images for improved searchability and retrieval.
- Perform quality control checks on digital assets, ensuring proper resolution, format, and content accuracy.
- Identify and resolve discrepancies in photo metadata and file naming conventions.
- Optimize image files for various platforms and uses, including resizing and basic color correction when necessary.
- Collaborate with content creators and other team members to understand asset requirements and workflows.
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to data security protocols for sensitive visual content.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of our digital asset management systems and processes.
Required Skills
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proficiency in digital photo management software (e.g., Adobe Bridge, Lightroom, Google Photos, Apple Photos).
- Strong understanding of file formats (JPEG, PNG, TIFF, RAW) and image resolution.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a remote environment.
- Solid written and verbal communication skills.
- Basic knowledge of metadata standards and best practices for digital asset tagging.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a digital asset management, photo library, or archiving role.
- Familiarity with cloud-based storage solutions and collaborative platforms.
- Basic photo editing skills (cropping, exposure adjustments).
- Experience with large-scale digital content migration projects.
- A genuine interest in photography and visual storytelling.
