Job Description

We are seeking a highly analytical and strategic Revenue Manager to join our dynamic team in Mississauga, Ontario. This pivotal role is responsible for maximizing revenue growth and optimizing profit for our portfolio of hotels through effective inventory management, pricing strategies, and distribution channel optimization. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of hospitality market trends, strong analytical capabilities, and a proven track record of driving financial performance. As a Revenue Manager, you will play a crucial role in developing and implementing comprehensive revenue management strategies, collaborating closely with sales, marketing, and operations teams to achieve business objectives. Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement optimal pricing strategies, inventory controls, and distribution channel management to maximize RevPAR and overall hotel profitability.
  • Conduct in-depth market segment analysis, competitive benchmarking, and demand forecasting to identify revenue opportunities and risks.
  • Lead weekly revenue management meetings, presenting performance insights, market trends, and strategic recommendations to senior leadership.
  • Oversee the daily management of all revenue management systems, ensuring accurate data input and effective utilization.
  • Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to create and execute promotional offers and packages that drive demand during need periods.
  • Monitor and analyze the booking pace, group wash, and transient pick-up to adjust strategies as needed.
  • Prepare and distribute regular revenue reports, including forecasts, budgets, and actual performance against targets.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry best practices, new technologies, and market conditions to continuously enhance revenue management processes.

Required Skills

  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in a dedicated Revenue Management role within the hospitality industry.
  • Proven proficiency in revenue management systems (e.g., RMS, PMS, CRS, GDS).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data and make data-driven decisions.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, capable of influencing stakeholders at all levels.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • In-depth understanding of hotel pricing strategies, inventory management, and distribution channels.
  • Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree or MBA.
  • Certification in Revenue Management (e.g., CRME).
  • Experience with Marriott specific systems such as MARSHA, One Yield, or similar proprietary platforms.
  • Knowledge of the Mississauga/Greater Toronto Area market.
  • Ability to speak multiple languages.
