Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Bank Teller with a strong emphasis on high-volume cash handling to join our team in Plano, Texas. In this role, you will be the face of JPMorgan Chase, providing exceptional service to our clients by accurately and efficiently processing transactions, managing significant cash volumes, and identifying opportunities to deepen client relationships. This position requires meticulous attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment where precision and speed are paramount.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process a high volume of complex and routine financial transactions accurately and efficiently, including deposits, withdrawals, transfers, and cashing checks.
  • Maintain a balanced cash drawer with a high degree of accuracy, adhering to strict bank policies and procedures for cash management.
  • Provide outstanding customer service, assisting clients with inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring a positive banking experience.
  • Identify client needs and introduce them to relevant bank products and services, making appropriate referrals to other banking specialists.
  • Verify client identity for security purposes and comply with all banking regulations, including BSA/AML policies.
  • Manage and reconcile daily transactions, ensuring all paperwork is completed correctly and promptly.
  • Operate various banking systems and equipment, including cash recyclers, ATMs, and teller software.
  • Collaborate with team members to achieve branch goals and maintain a positive work environment.
  • Adhere to all operational, security, and compliance procedures.

Required Skills

  • Proven experience in a high-volume cash handling role (e.g., retail, banking, customer service).
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in cash management and transaction processing.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written).
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, customer-centric environment.
  • Basic computer proficiency and ability to learn new software quickly.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience as a Bank Teller or in a similar financial services role.
  • Familiarity with banking regulations and compliance procedures.
  • Proficiency in a second language relevant to the local community.
  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in a business-related field.
