Job Description
We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Promoted Pins Analyst to join our dynamic marketing insights team. In this role, you will be instrumental in analyzing the performance of Promoted Pins campaigns for our clients, identifying key trends, and providing actionable insights to optimize advertising spend and achieve strategic marketing objectives. This position requires a strong understanding of data analysis, digital advertising platforms, and a passion for uncovering performance drivers.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze large datasets related to Promoted Pins campaign performance, including impressions, clicks, conversions, and ROI.
- Identify key trends, patterns, and anomalies in campaign data to inform strategic decision-making.
- Develop and maintain detailed performance reports and dashboards using various analytics tools.
- Provide actionable recommendations for campaign optimization, including targeting, bidding strategies, creative, and budget allocation.
- Collaborate closely with internal media buying teams and client stakeholders to communicate findings and present insights.
- Monitor industry trends and best practices in social media advertising, specifically on Pinterest, to ensure cutting-edge analysis.
- Support A/B testing initiatives and measure their impact on campaign effectiveness.
Required Skills
- 2+ years of experience in data analysis, digital marketing, or a related field.
- Proficiency in SQL for data extraction and manipulation.
- Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, complex formulas).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with keen attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills to present complex data clearly.
- Understanding of key performance indicators (KPIs) for digital advertising campaigns (CPC, CTR, CPA, ROAS).
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Pinterest Ads Manager or other social media advertising platforms (e.g., Facebook Ads, Google Ads).
- Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Looker.
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Statistics, Economics, Computer Science, or a related quantitative field.
- Experience working in an agency environment or with multiple client accounts.
- Basic understanding of statistical analysis principles.
