Job Description
Are you a high school student looking for a great way to start your day and gain valuable work experience? Hannaford is seeking enthusiastic and reliable individuals for Early Bird Morning Shifts at our Portland location. This is an excellent opportunity for students to learn the fundamentals of retail operations, customer service, and teamwork in a fast-paced environment. You’ll play a crucial role in preparing our store for the day, ensuring shelves are stocked and the store is clean and welcoming for our morning customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with stocking shelves and organizing products before store opening.
- Ensure store aisles are clean, safe, and well-maintained.
- Help with initial setup of fresh produce, bakery, or deli departments as needed.
- Provide friendly and helpful assistance to early morning customers.
- Follow all company policies and procedures regarding safety, sanitation, and store operations.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure a smooth and efficient morning routine.
Required Skills
- Ability to work early morning shifts consistently.
- Strong punctuality and reliability.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to lift and move merchandise up to 25 lbs.
