Job Description
Join the Outback Steakhouse team as a High School Greet & Seat Host! We’re looking for enthusiastic and friendly individuals to be the first point of contact for our guests, setting the tone for their dining experience. In this fast-paced environment, you’ll manage seating, handle reservations, and ensure our restaurant operates smoothly and efficiently. This is an excellent opportunity for high school students looking to gain valuable customer service and hospitality experience in a dynamic restaurant setting. We offer flexible scheduling to accommodate school commitments and a chance to be part of a vibrant team dedicated to ‘No Rules, Just Right’ dining.
Key Responsibilities
- Warmly greet all guests upon arrival and thank them genuinely upon departure.
- Manage the waitlist and seating chart efficiently, optimizing table turnover.
- Escort guests to their tables, presenting menus and specials.
- Answer incoming calls and manage reservations accurately.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand and lobby area.
- Assist with light cleaning duties and table setup as needed.
- Communicate effectively with servers, kitchen staff, and management.
- Handle guest inquiries and direct them to appropriate staff members.
- Uphold Outback Steakhouse's high standards of hospitality and service.
Required Skills

- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 10 lbs.

Preferred Qualifications
