Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Junior QA Automation Engineer to join our fully remote team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone passionate about software quality and automation, with a strong foundational understanding of Python and C++. You will contribute to the development and execution of automated test suites, ensuring the quality and reliability of our cutting-edge software products.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts using Python and C++ based frameworks.
- Collaborate with development teams to understand product features and identify test requirements.
- Perform thorough regression testing, functional testing, and performance testing.
- Report and track software defects, working closely with developers to ensure timely resolution.
- Participate in test plan reviews and contribute to improving test coverage and efficiency.
- Assist in setting up and maintaining test environments.
- Continuously learn and apply new testing methodologies and automation tools.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in Python programming for automation scripting.
- Basic understanding of C++ programming concepts.
- Familiarity with test automation frameworks (e.g., Pytest, Google Test).
- Experience with version control systems, preferably Git.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and tools.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Experience with Jira or similar issue tracking systems.
