Job Description
We are seeking highly professional, reliable, and experienced Special Event Chauffeurs with a passion for delivering exceptional service, specifically focused on concerts and sporting events. As a Chauffeur with Ankeny Limousine & Sedan Service, you will be the face of our company, providing safe, timely, and comfortable transportation for clients attending various entertainment and sports venues across the Des Moines metro area and beyond. This role requires excellent driving skills, impeccable customer service, and a proactive approach to client needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate luxury vehicles (sedans, SUVs, limousines) to transport clients to and from concerts, sporting events, and other special occasions.
- Ensure timely arrival at pick-up and drop-off locations, adhering to scheduled itineraries.
- Provide professional and courteous service, assisting clients with luggage and ensuring their comfort and satisfaction.
- Maintain a clean and well-maintained vehicle before, during, and after each shift.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety policies.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch regarding client status, traffic conditions, and any unforeseen delays.
- Handle client requests and concerns with professionalism and discretion.
Required Skills
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Minimum of 2 years of professional driving or chauffeur experience.
- Excellent knowledge of Des Moines and surrounding areas, including major event venues.
- Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
- Punctuality, reliability, and a professional demeanor.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as event schedules demand.
- Ability to lift and carry luggage up to 50 lbs.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience as a chauffeur for a luxury transportation service.
- Defensive driving certification.
- Familiarity with luxury vehicle operation and maintenance checks.
- First Aid/CPR certification.
- Knowledge of local hospitality and entertainment scene.
