Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Hotel Porter to join our welcoming team at Hilton Maidstone. This role is ideal for individuals who are committed to providing outstanding guest service and thrive in a dynamic hotel environment. As a Hotel Porter, you will be a crucial first and last point of contact for our guests, ensuring a smooth and pleasant experience from arrival to departure. Our supportive management team is committed to your success and development, offering comprehensive training and a collaborative atmosphere.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet guests upon arrival and assist with luggage handling, ensuring safe and efficient transportation to rooms.
- Provide information about hotel facilities, services, and local attractions to enhance the guest experience.
- Assist guests with general inquiries and special requests, escalating complex issues to appropriate departments.
- Maintain the cleanliness and orderliness of the lobby, entrance, and luggage storage areas.
- Support the front desk and other hotel departments as needed, contributing to overall operational efficiency.
- Deliver newspapers, mail, and packages to guest rooms promptly.
- Assist with the setup and breakdown of meeting rooms or event spaces when required.
- Ensure all guest requests are handled with professionalism and a positive attitude.
- Adhere to all hotel safety and security procedures.
