Job Description

As a Storage Shed Declutterer, you will be responsible for assisting clients with the organization and tidying of their storage sheds, garages, and other outdoor storage areas. This involves sorting items, categorizing, recommending storage solutions, and helping with light lifting and moving. You’ll work directly with clients to understand their needs and create functional, clutter-free spaces. This is a Part-Time, on-site role perfect for someone looking for flexible work within their local area.

Key Responsibilities

  • Consulting with clients to understand their decluttering goals and preferences for storage sheds and similar spaces.
  • Efficiently sorting items into categories such as keep, donate, dispose, or relocate.
  • Assisting with the physical organization of items, including shelving, boxing, and arranging.
  • Providing practical advice and suggestions for sustainable organization systems.
  • Safely handling and moving items, including light lifting up to 20kg.
  • Ensuring a clean and tidy workspace upon completion of each gig.
  • Maintaining a professional and courteous demeanor with all clients.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A practical, hands-on approach to problem-solving.
  • Ability to perform light to moderate physical tasks, including bending, lifting, and standing for periods.

  • A portfolio or examples of past organizational projects (informal is fine).
