Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and meticulous Wellness Center Cleaner to join our team in Newcastle-under-Lyme. This is a crucial part-time evening role focused on maintaining the pristine condition of our wellness centre during off-peak hours. Key Responsibilities
- Perform general cleaning duties, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing all areas of the wellness centre.
- Clean and disinfect changing rooms, showers, toilets, and other washroom facilities to a high standard.
- Empty waste bins and dispose of rubbish in accordance with facility guidelines.
- Clean and maintain fitness equipment, ensuring all surfaces are hygienic and presentable.
- Replenish supplies in washrooms and other communal areas.
- Monitor and report any maintenance issues, damage, or safety hazards to the appropriate supervisor.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations and cleaning protocols.
- Work efficiently and independently during evening hours to ensure the centre is immaculate for the next day's operations.
- Maintain a professional and respectful demeanour at all times.
Required Skills
- Proven ability to clean effectively and efficiently.
- Strong attention to detail and a high standard of cleanliness.
- Reliability and punctuality are essential.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Good understanding of health and safety practices relevant to cleaning.
- Physical ability to perform cleaning tasks, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a cleaning role, particularly within a leisure, hospitality, or healthcare environment.
- Knowledge of COSHH regulations.
- Ability to operate various cleaning equipment.
