Job Description
We are seeking a friendly and reliable Spa Resort Porter to join our dedicated team at The Bingham Riverhouse. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys a relaxed yet attentive work environment and takes pride in ensuring guest comfort and smooth operations. As a Spa Resort Porter, you will be a crucial point of contact for our guests, assisting with luggage, spa amenity setup, and general resort needs. You’ll contribute to our serene atmosphere while enjoying excellent team benefits, including free gym access.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist with luggage handling to and from rooms and spa areas.
- Assist guests with inquiries, directions, and general information about the resort and local area.
- Ensure the spa reception and common areas are tidy and welcoming.
- Set up and prepare spa treatment rooms and relaxation areas as per daily schedules.
- Support the spa team with the delivery of amenities and supplies.
- Assist with basic maintenance tasks or report issues to the appropriate department.
- Monitor and replenish spa amenities, towels, and water stations.
- Provide support for events and special functions held at the resort.
- Maintain a high standard of professional appearance and conduct.
Required Skills
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to lift and carry luggage and spa supplies.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- A proactive and helpful attitude.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
