Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and data-focused Microsoft Knowledge Graph Associate to join our remote team. In this role, you will be instrumental in the development, maintenance, and enhancement of knowledge graphs, contributing to the organization and intelligent retrieval of vast amounts of information within Microsoft’s ecosystem. This is a 100% remote position, offering flexibility and the opportunity to collaborate with a global team of experts from anywhere within the United States. You will apply your analytical skills to structure data, identify relationships, and ensure the accuracy and consistency of our knowledge representations, directly impacting product intelligence and user experiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain data models for knowledge graphs, ensuring semantic consistency and accuracy.
- Extract, transform, and load (ETL) data from various sources into knowledge graph formats.
- Collaborate with data scientists and engineers to integrate knowledge graphs into AI and machine learning applications.
- Perform data quality checks and implement strategies for continuous improvement of graph data.
- Document data structures, processes, and methodologies for knowledge graph development.
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in knowledge representation, semantic web technologies, and graph databases.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in data manipulation and querying languages (e.g., SQL, Cypher, SPARQL).
- Experience with graph databases (e.g., Neo4j, Amazon Neptune, Cosmos DB Graph API) or semantic web technologies (RDF, OWL).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
- Familiarity with data modeling and schema design principles.
- Experience with scripting languages (e.g., Python) for data processing.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Experience with Microsoft Azure data services (Azure Cosmos DB, Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse Analytics).
- Understanding of natural language processing (NLP) concepts.
- Experience working in an agile development environment.
