Job Description
We are seeking dedicated and reliable Part-time Terminal Cleaners to join our team for weekend shifts at a busy airport terminal near New Port Richey, FL. This is a crucial role ensuring the cleanliness, sanitation, and overall presentation of the airport facilities, contributing directly to a positive experience for travelers and staff. Key Responsibilities
- Perform all cleaning duties for the airport terminal, including restrooms, waiting areas, gate areas, offices, and public spaces.
- Operate cleaning equipment such as floor buffers, vacuums, and carpet cleaners.
- Empty trash receptacles, replace liners, and transport waste to designated disposal areas.
- Clean and sanitize surfaces, including floors, walls, windows, and fixtures.
- Restock supplies in restrooms and other areas as needed.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and use personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
- Report any maintenance issues, safety hazards, or equipment malfunctions to supervision.
- Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor while interacting with airport staff and the public.
- Work efficiently and effectively as part of a team to maintain a high standard of cleanliness.
- Follow specific instructions and complete tasks as assigned by the supervisor.
Required Skills
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting, bending, standing, and walking for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.
- Reliability and punctuality, especially for weekend shifts.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Effective communication skills.
- Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening.
