Job Description
We are urgently seeking a dedicated and energetic Dishwasher / Kitchen Steward to join our culinary team with an immediate start. In this vital role, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and sanitation of all kitchen areas, dishware, utensils, and equipment. You will play a crucial part in ensuring a smooth and efficient operation within our busy kitchen, supporting our chefs and culinary staff. This is an on-site position requiring a strong work ethic and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. We are looking for someone who is reliable, detail-oriented, and ready to contribute to a positive team atmosphere.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate dishwashing machines efficiently and safely.
- Wash and sanitize all dishware, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans.
- Store clean items in their appropriate locations.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dishwashing area, kitchen floors, and work stations.
- Assist with basic food preparation tasks as needed, such as peeling vegetables or portioning ingredients.
- Remove trash and recycling, ensuring proper waste disposal.
- Adhere to all health, safety, and sanitation standards and regulations.
- Assist with receiving and stocking deliveries.
- Support the culinary team with various tasks to ensure smooth kitchen operations.
Required Skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
