As an Unemployment Claims Adjudicator, you will play a crucial role in supporting citizens during challenging times. You will be responsible for impartially reviewing and determining eligibility for unemployment benefits, ensuring compliance with complex regulations and policies. This role requires exceptional analytical skills, attention to detail, and a compassionate approach to communicating with claimants and employers.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough investigations into unemployment claims, reviewing submitted documentation and evidence.
- Interview claimants and employers to gather relevant information and clarify details.
- Analyze complex information and apply federal, state, and local unemployment insurance laws, rules, and policies to make accurate eligibility determinations.
- Communicate findings and determinations clearly and professionally, both verbally and in writing, to all parties involved.
- Maintain accurate and confidential case records in accordance with established procedures.
- Respond to inquiries from claimants, employers, and other stakeholders regarding claims status and processes.
- Participate actively in all provided training programs to develop and enhance adjudication skills.
- Adhere to strict deadlines and performance metrics.
Required Skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen eye for detail.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, capable of explaining complex information clearly.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, demonstrating empathy and professionalism when interacting with diverse individuals.

Preferred Qualifications
