Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Email Support Officer to join our customer service team. This is a fully remote position, focusing exclusively on written communication to assist our customers. The ideal candidate will be adept at crafting clear, concise, and helpful email responses to a variety of customer inquiries, ensuring a positive and efficient support experience. You will be responsible for resolving customer issues, providing information, and escalating complex cases when necessary, all through written channels. This role requires excellent written communication skills, strong problem-solving abilities, and a commitment to customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Respond to customer inquiries via email in a timely and professional manner.
  • Resolve customer issues, provide accurate information, and offer solutions to concerns regarding shipping, tracking, billing, and other service-related topics.
  • Maintain high standards of written communication, ensuring clarity, grammar, and tone are appropriate for FedEx brand guidelines.
  • Document customer interactions and resolutions accurately in the customer relationship management (CRM) system.
  • Identify and escalate complex issues to appropriate internal teams for further investigation and resolution.
  • Collaborate with team members and other departments to ensure consistent and effective customer support.
  • Stay updated on FedEx products, services, and policies to provide accurate information to customers.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of customer support processes and knowledge base articles.
